Rt. Rev. (Maj Rtd) Daniel Yinkah Sarfo was installed Bishop of the Diocese of Kumasi on 14th March 1999. Before his election as Bishop, he was one of the Anglican Chaplains serving with the Ghana Armed Forces.
Bishop Sarfo’s experience in the Armed Forces has well prepared him with courage and the fortitude to undertake the task of moving the Diocese forward. He has embarked on number of viable projects as part of his endeavour to make the Diocese of Kumasi financially independent and capable of rendering useful services to Ghanaian Society at large. He also, like his predecessors considers human resource development as an important element of his task and has embarked on diversity the training of the Clergy to make ii possible for them to undertake other duties in addition to their professional tasks.
